7 Reasons to Switch Your GBB to a Tapp HPA Adapter

Running your GBB on a Tapp HPA adapter gets you consistent shots in any weather, real magazine capacity and cheaper days at the field. You keep the blowback that made you buy a GBB in the first place.

1. Every shot matches the last

Gas mags cool down as you shoot, so pressure drops with every shot in a fast string. A regulator holds your air at one set pressure. Muzzle velocity stays uniform from the first BB to the last, and your shots stay predictable.

2. Cold days stop mattering

Green gas loses power as the temperature drops, which is why GBBs get sluggish on winter mornings. Compressed air doesn't have that problem, so your gun runs reliably whatever the weather.

3. Real capacity

Instead of a gas mag, you feed from an AEG mid-cap, a shotgun shell or a drum. Our HPA drums run from 400 to 2,000 rounds, so reloads all but disappear.

4. One mag type for your whole loadout

If your primary runs M4 mags, an M4 adapter lets your pistol run them too. The same goes for MP5 and ARP9 mags. Fewer mag types means simpler pouches and faster reloads under pressure.

5. Power you can tune

Your regulator becomes your power dial. Turn it up or down to meet field limits or suit your play style, then chrono to confirm. No more swapping gas types or warming mags in your pocket.

6. Cheaper to run

Compressed air costs less over time than buying gas, and you stop throwing away empty cans. AEG mags usually cost far less than GBB mags, too.

7. Nothing permanent

Our standard adapters come fully assembled and plug-and-play, with no donor mag to sacrifice and no modification to your gun. Want to run gas again? Pop a gas mag back in.

The trade-off

You'll carry a tank and run a line to your gun. Most players adapt quickly with a backpack or a vest-mounted tank, and the consistency is worth it.

Built to last

Our adapters are SLS-printed in Nylon PA12, with a carbon fiber-infused nylon upgrade and Cerakote finishes available. Feedlips and gaskets are replaceable, and you can download feedlip STL files from our Thingiverse page to print your own. Every adapter is backed by a 30-day warranty and lifetime support.
