Every Tapp adapter works out of the box. Upgrades make it stronger, tougher, slimmer or faster to reload. Here's what each one does and who it's for.
Carbon fiber: stronger and stiffer
Our standard adapters are SLS-printed in Nylon PA12. The carbon fiber upgrade uses carbon fiber-infused nylon instead.

It also handles heat better and expands less, which helps hold the air seal through long full-auto strings, and it resists moisture and UV. It comes in a clean matte black. Our hybrid lowers are printed in carbon fiber nylon as standard.

Cerakote: protection and color
Cerakote is a thin-film ceramic coating, applied in-house. Every part is stripped, blasted and cleaned, then sprayed, oven-cured and inspected.
- Tougher surface: heat, impact, corrosion and UV resistance with a hard, slick finish
- Your colors: hundreds of shades in matte, satin or gloss, plus two-tone and camo on custom jobs
- Ambi Angled M4: color the body and the releases separately
- Laser engraving: logos and fine detail down to 0.05 mm, done in-house

PRO: slimmer and sharper
Our PRO adapters are built for performance, ergonomics and looks.
- Low profile: 20–80% more compact than our standard designs
- CNC feed nozzle: replaceable CNC parts where wear happens
- Precise feeding: BB-stop tech held to 0.01 mm tolerances
- Designed per gun: mags and drums positioned to feel like they belong
PRO models include EVO adapters with a working bolt stop for the VFC and GHK AKs, Shotgun Shell PRO adapters for popular AKs, and a GHK AUG Para/ARP9 PRO. The PRO upgrade also appears in the Adapter Builder on builds it fits.
