HPA Safety & FAQ
What are the PSI limits and safety rules?
NEVER exceed 150 PSI. Always use air regulated by a secondary low-pressure regulator (e.g., Wolverine Storm, PolarStar MRS). Check the PSI before connecting the air line. Never connect the adapter to unregulated paintball tanks, CO2 tanks, or Tippmann-style lines.
How is FPS safely increased?
Because some adapters have a slightly smaller internal gas volume than standard magazines, they will typically run between 90–150 PSI. Do not crank the PSI past 150 to get more power. Doing so causes "light strikes" where the hammer struggles to hit the highly pressurized valve. To increase FPS safely: fit a tighter/longer inner barrel, use heavier BBs, or upgrade the hop-up bucking. If the platform uses an NPAS, open it fully.
How should the adapter be inserted?
To minimize wear and pressure against the loading nozzle, it is highly recommended to insert the HPA adapter with the bolt or slide locked back.
What HPA fitting is included?
A US-Spec Foster Fitting is installed as standard, as it is the most common connection in airsoft HPA setups. If an EU fitting is required, they can be purchased separately.
Is assembly required?
No. The adapters are strictly plug-and-play. There is no need to pull valves or feed lips off stock gas magazines. Just attach the HPA line, click in the AEG mag, and play.

Can I combine the PRO upgrade with Carbon Fiber?
Absolutely. Combining the redesigned CNC internals of the PRO series with the rigid, vapor-smoothed PA11 Carbon Fiber body creates the absolute ultimate, top-tier adapter available.
What exactly isn't covered by the Extended Warranty?
Our "no questions asked" warranty covers the Tapp Airsoft adapter itself. It does NOT cover non-Tapp Airsoft items—such as the Angel Custom drum, Armorer Works drum, AEG magazines, or your host gun—even if they were attached to or purchased alongside our products.
Will Cerakote mess up the feeding tolerances?
No. Our in-house Cerakote process is precision-airbrushed specifically to preserve the tight tolerances required for HPA systems and BB feeding channels.
How much lighter is the Carbon Fiber option?
While standard Nylon PA12 is already lightweight, our Carbon Fiber composite delivers metal-like load-bearing strength at a fraction of the weight of machined aluminum, keeping your pistol fast and flickable.
