I ordered the wrong adapter at first, and Tapp’s customer service was top tier—they reprinted the correct one and made sure it fit my WE F226 perfectly. Installation was a breeze; it dropped in clean with no extra mods needed.
So far, I’ve run about four high-cap M4 mags through it without a single feeding issue. Mags seat securely and feed reliably, which is exactly what I needed. The angled design is sleek and makes the setup feel really solid in-hand. I only reload from one side, so I haven’t really taken advantage of the ambidextrous mag release yet, but it’s a nice option to have.
The material feels rugged and durable—no drops or hard knocks yet, but I can tell it’s built to last. Even with a full M4 mag on a pistol, it stays tight and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. The fit and finish are genuinely satisfying.
Given the custom nature and overall performance, I’d say it’s well worth the price. I haven’t had to use any warranty yet, but based on their responsiveness so far, I’d have zero hesitation reaching out again if I needed help.
